Putin announced readiness to end the war: what condition he set.
According to ТСН: The Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin announced readiness to end the war if the Armed Forces of Ukraine leave the positions they occupy.
Putin noted that Russia is ready to stop hostilities, but only on the condition that the Ukrainian troops "leave the positions they occupy."
"Ukrainian troops, if they leave the occupied territories, then we will stop hostilities, if they do not leave - we will achieve it by military means. The number, let's say, of territories that are being returned is increasing, the pace is increasing," Putin noted.
Earlier, Putin also spoke about the risk of Russia attacking Europe, accusing "frauds" of spreading "lies" and "nonsense."
"Nevertheless, if this is spun in public consciousness, if they scared their citizens and they want to hear that we are not planning, that we have no aggressive plans regarding Europe, - please, we are ready to fix it in any way," said the head of the Kremlin.
This statement by Putin reflects the tense situation in eastern Ukraine and the search for ways to a possible peaceful resolution of the conflict. Such comments often provoke different reactions among the international community and may influence the further unfolding of events in the region.
Moreover, the words about aggressive plans towards Europe demonstrate the Russian strategy of justifying its actions and attempts to divert attention from internal and external problems. The situation remains complex, and Russia's further steps will be closely monitored both in Ukraine and abroad.
