Russians struck Mykolaiv with missiles: destruction, injured, and fires.
In the evening of August 2, Mykolaiv suffered a missile strike from Russian occupiers. Dozens of houses and infrastructure facilities were damaged. Seven people were injured, two of them remain in the hospital. Shelling continued in the morning — the Kutsurub community was once again under fire.
On Sunday, August 3, Mykolaiv Oblast Governor Vitaliy Kim reported this.
According to Kim, around 22:01, Russian troops launched a missile strike on Mykolaiv. Three private houses were destroyed, and fires broke out in several locations.
Another 23 private homes and 12 apartment buildings were damaged. Among the affected objects are a building materials store, a post office, and six vehicles. Seven people sustained injuries.
'As of this morning, a 57-year-old and a 74-year-old man are in the hospital in moderately grave condition, a 32-year-old man received outpatient assistance,' reported Vitaliy Kim.
At the same time, Mykolaiv city mayor Oleksandr Senkevych noted that utility services are already working at the site of the attack. The scope of work is significant.
'Russia is only capable of destruction. Thank you to everyone who is addressing the consequences,' wrote Oleksandr Senkevych.
Shelling of the Kutsurub Community
According to Mykolaiv Oblast officials, Russian troops also attacked the Kutsurub community three times with FPV drones. Fortunately, such incidents did not result in casualties.
Utility services are working continuously to restore the damaged areas as quickly as possible.

According to US NATO Ambassador Matthew Vitaker, providing the latest weaponry to NATO allies while supporting Ukraine is aimed at pressuring Russia into negotiations and achieving a truce.
The Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv has become a target of missile fire from Russian troops, leading to damage to dozens of buildings and the involvement of utility services to mitigate the consequences. The Kutsurub community was also attacked, but without casualties. The United States is providing support to Ukraine in resolving the conflict with Russia.
