UNHCR Launches Financial Aid Registration

According to Novyny.live: Starting March 27, 2026, residents of Buryn in Sumy Oblast who have been affected by the war can register for cash assistance from UNHCR. Each family member is eligible for 10,800 Ukrainian hryvnias, distributed over a three-month period. This initiative is part of UNHCR’s broader effort to support war-affected populations in Ukraine, focusing on those who have been displaced or forced to flee their homes.

Eligibility extends to internally displaced persons (IDPs) with official status for up to six months, as well as refugees who have returned to their place of origin. However, families whose total monthly income exceeds 6,300 hryvnias per person are not eligible for this aid. The program covers the following regions:
