Russia strengthens positions in the Klishchiyivka area: ISW analysis.
The report from the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) states that Russian forces continue to advance near Svatove, Chasiv Yar, and are strengthening their positions in the Klishchiyivka area.
Recently, Russian bloggers reported that Russian forces have reestablished limited positions in the center of Vovchansk and repelled Ukrainian counterattacks near Hlyboke, but these reports have not yet been confirmed.
It is also noted that Russian forces in the Siversky direction are having problems with Ukrainian drones, which are slowing their advance.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel General Oleksandr Syrskyi, reported that fierce battles continue in the area of the Siversky Donets-Donbas canal.
Information that Ukrainian Armed Forces have retreated from Klishchiyivka and that Russian forces are strengthening their positions in this area has not yet been confirmed.
Russian occupiers are also continuing offensive operations near Verbove and Mala Tokmachka in the Zaporizhzhia region, but there is still no official confirmation of changes on the frontline.
Thus, the situation in eastern Ukraine remains tense, and Russian invaders continue to expand their zones of influence.
