Russian attack on railway: which trains changed their routes

According to inkorr.com: On the night of October 31, Russian terrorists attacked the railway infrastructure in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions. According to information released by the press service of 'Ukrzaliznytsia' and quoted by the publication 'Glavkom', during the attack in Sumy, the passenger depot, other company facilities, and train No. 779/780 Sumy - Kyiv were damaged. Although some carriages had to be replaced for passenger transportation, the train departed on schedule.

Comment from the company's representative: 'According to preliminary information, no one was injured - all employees managed to reach shelter on time.'

Impact on railway communication

The railway infrastructure near Lozova in the Kharkiv region also suffered damage. As a result, train No. 228/227 Husarivka - Ivano-Frankivsk had to change its route. However, the company assures that it is making efforts to minimize delays in the schedule.

This incident is not the first attack by Russian occupiers on residential areas and infrastructure in Ukraine. Earlier, as a result of a drone attack on Sumy, civilian residents were affected.

Thus, the night attack on the railway infrastructure in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions led to damage to the passenger depot, other facilities, and rolling stock of 'Ukrzaliznytsia'. This affected the operation of the railway, creating risks for the safety and comfort of the civilian population.

Such attacks highlight the ongoing threat to civilian infrastructure in Ukraine. Despite the efforts of 'Ukrzaliznytsia' to maintain the schedule, the situation remains complicated and requires additional security measures.
