Russia must prove that it wants to end the war - Zelensky.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that agreements were reached with the American side during negotiations in Saudi Arabia. In particular, a ceasefire regarding Ukrainian energy may begin. The security of shipping in the Black Sea was also discussed.
The President expressed gratitude to Saudi Arabia and praised the Ukrainian delegation for conducting constructive meetings with the American side.
'Agreements are in place, and they are quite specific. It has been agreed with the American side that a ceasefire regarding our energy may start today,' the President stated.
However, the President expressed concern about the actions of Russia, which is trying to distort the agreements and deceive mediators and the whole world.
Zelensky also warned of a possible strong response in case of violations of the agreements by the Russians and called for new sanctions against Moscow.
The President noted the role of the Security Service of Ukraine in neutralizing Russian agents and reported on the situation at the front and the Kursk operation.
