Russia is set to recruit North Korean soldiers for assaults soon – intelligence.
The Kremlin is preparing soldiers from North Korea for direct participation in hostilities, reports the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine.
The command of the North Korean army in Russia has been ordered to cooperate with Russian units engaged in combat in the Kursk region. It is likely that North Korean soldiers will soon be involved in direct assault operations. They have received additional food supplies.
On December 13, units of the North Korean army were put on alert and are awaiting further instructions.
Some North Korean soldiers are being preliminarily transported to the front in civilian trucks resembling water delivery vehicles.
President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the number of North Korean troops on Russian territory is 11,000 soldiers, but this number may increase to 100,000.
According to GUR data, among the servicemen of the North Korean army in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, there is dissatisfaction due to insufficient food supply.
Moreover, Ukraine's military intelligence reported that Russia has used about 60 North Korean rockets against Ukraine.
