Russia strikes Kharkiv: the number of injured has risen to 15 (updated).
Russian troops struck the Kyiv district of Kharkiv, as confirmed by the city mayor Ihor Terekhov. A fire broke out as a result of the shelling.
The strike occurred in the central part of the city. Emergency services are currently on site.
According to Terekhov, 10 people were injured as a result of the shelling. The fire engulfed the yard of multi-storey buildings and outbuildings.
The head of the regional state administration, Oleg Synehubov, reported that the number of injured has risen to 15. The fire has been extinguished, but significant damage was inflicted on cars and buildings.
It should be noted that Russia has recently been attacking Kharkiv using unmanned aerial vehicles. Measures are being taken in the city to protect against attacks and ensure normal functioning.
It is worth noting that Kharkiv had previously also been a target for Russian troops, resulting in serious injuries among the city's residents and its outskirts.
