According to analysts, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that North Korean troops are participating in assaults in the Kursk region of Russia and are suffering significant losses.
Zelensky also emphasized that Russia may use North Korean troops in other areas of the front.
This information is the first official statement from a Ukrainian representative regarding offensive operations by North Korean troops. Earlier, Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov reported 'small' clashes with North Korean troops in the Kursk region.
This information has also been reported by pro-war Russian bloggers.
However, at this moment, ISW lacks sufficient evidence to confirm this data.
Analysts concluded that North Korea's ability to train and learn from lessons in the event of being utilized by Russian command would significantly deteriorate, especially in high-exhaustion infantry assaults.
