Russia launched a record number of drones at Ukraine overnight.
Ukraine was attacked by 188 strike drones - Zelensky
The Russian Federation launched 188 strike drones over Ukraine last night. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported that this is the largest number of drones that the enemy has deployed.
According to Zelensky, about 80 drones were shot down, and more than 90 locations were lost.
«Unfortunately, we have damage to our critical infrastructure. The situation in Ternopil is very difficult. All services and repair crews are actively working to help people and restore electricity as soon as possible», - noted Zelensky.
He also emphasized that each drone contains 85 foreign components, totaling over 16,000 components. Such attacks are possible due to the circumvention of sanctions that Russia carries out through various schemes.
Recall that at the beginning of the night on November 26, Russian invaders attacked the electrical infrastructure of Ternopil. This led to a temporary suspension of trolleybus movement in the city. Work is ongoing to assess the extent of damage and eliminate the consequences of the shelling. There is no information about the casualties.
Later, it became known that the fire at the energy facility hit by drone attacks was managed to be extinguished in Ternopil region.
It should be noted that today, November 26, electricity supply will be suspended from 7:00 to 21:00.
