The western regions of Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne, and Vinnytsia were the primary focus of the attack. The assault damaged critical equipment, forcing emergency power outages across the affected areas.

The Burshtyn Thermal Power Plant in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast was subjected to a five-hour attack, significantly degrading the region's energy capacity. Separately, in Dnipro, Russian forces struck a transport enterprise, damaging 20% of the trolleybuses in a depot. Zaporizhzhia Oblast also endured heavy bombardment, sustaining approximately 600 artillery strikes and nearly 300 drone attacks in a single day.

Over the course of a week, Russia launched more than 2,000 attack drones, 1,200 aerial bombs, and 116 missiles at Ukraine, marking a clear escalation in hostilities. As Ivan Grygoruk noted,
