Russia attacked Mykolaiv with a swarm of Shahed drones: what is known about the consequences.
According to ТСН: On the night of January 3, a series of explosions rocked Mykolaiv as the enemy sent dozens of strike drones to the city.
This was reported by the head of the OVA Vitaliy Kim.
“At night, the enemy carried out a massive attack with Shahed-131/136 type UAVs on the critical infrastructure of the region, resulting in power outages in some populated areas of the Mykolaiv district. Since night, energy workers have been working to restore power. There are no casualties,” he clarified.
Situation in the districts:
During the day, the enemy attacked the suburbs of Mykolaiv with a strike drone, possibly a 'Molniya' type UAV. As a result, a gas station building and two cars were damaged, but there were no casualties.
Also, yesterday the enemy carried out an attack with an FPV drone on the Kutsurub community; fortunately, there were no casualties.
It should be noted that after the first hour of the night, the Air Forces warned about the movement of enemy UAVs towards Mykolaiv, and explosions could be heard in the city.
This event highlights the ongoing threat to civilian objects and the population in the Mykolaiv region. The emergency situation requires the efforts of energy workers to restore power supply, as well as the readiness of local services to respond to similar attacks in the future. The situation remains tense, and residents continue to feel the impact of these hostile actions.
