Occupiers are increasing their forces in Pokrovsk: how fog affects combat operations

According to ТСН: Russian occupiers have reinforced their troops in Pokrovsk, taking advantage of the thick fog that lingered over the city for a day.

Such weather conditions complicated aerial reconnaissance activities, as limited visibility does not allow for effective detection and elimination of the enemy.

“The enemy is trying to use the worsening visibility to increase their forces, create shelters in buildings, and prepare conditions for further offensive. In unfavorable weather conditions, the enemy can bring more personnel into the city,”

– the message states.

Despite this, the Defense Forces continue to hold Russian troops along the entire line of combat engagement in their area of responsibility.

In the specified days, Ukrainian soldiers in Pokrovsk destroyed 29 occupiers, and 9 others were wounded. Most of the opponents were eliminated as a result of gun battles.

It is also worth reminding that earlier the commander of the Air Assault Forces, Oleg Apostol, spoke about how long the Ukrainian army intends to hold Pokrovsk.

The situation in Pokrovsk remains tense due to the activity of Russian troops. The Ukrainian command is making efforts to maintain control over the city and prevent further buildup of enemy forces. In the conditions of warfare, it is important to remain vigilant and not lose positions to ensure the safety of the region.
