Russia attacked Kramatorsk and Slovyansk on New Year's Eve: one injured.
According to ТСН: The Russian armed forces launched nighttime drone attacks on Kramatorsk and Slovyansk in the Donetsk region. As a result of the attacks, civilian objects were damaged, and one woman was injured.
Attack on Kramatorsk
In Kramatorsk, a drone hit a residential area, resulting in a woman being injured. Rescuers provided her with necessary assistance and handed her over to medics.
Residential buildings were damaged due to the strike, and parts of destroyed structures burned down. Rescuers extinguished the fire that broke out after the attack.
Attack on Slovyansk
In Slovyansk, a fire broke out in a utility building on private property. Rescue teams quickly extinguished the blaze and prevented the spread of fire to neighboring properties.
Attack on Odesa and Chornomorsk
Also, on the night of December 31, Russian troops attacked Odesa and Chornomorsk, using 20 Shahed-type drones. As a result of this attack, five people were injured. The drones hit high-rise buildings, postal warehouses, causing damage to civilian vehicles and sparking fires. Due to strikes on critical infrastructure, part of Odesa was left without electricity, water, and heating.
These attacks seriously disrupted the normal life of the cities, causing harm to the civilian population and infrastructure. New strikes underscore the tense situation in the region, where hostilities continue, and raise concerns among communities trying to restore normalcy amidst constant threats.
