Improving KABs for Russians: increasing range

A Russian researcher has possibly managed to improve guided aerial bombs (KABs) by increasing their range up to 80 km. This poses a threat to Ukraine's civilian population.

This was reported by Serhii Bratchuk, spokesman for the Ukrainian Volunteer Army "South", commenting on airstrikes on Zaporizhia on the FREEДОМ radio station.

He noted that such strikes are purely terrorist, aiming to pressure and break the civilian population. Unfortunately, the enemy has the tools for such strikes and continues to improve them.

"The enemy, unfortunately, is improving their weapons today. Practically implementing the formula of converting high-explosive aerial bombs into guided ones. Using changes in tactical and technical characteristics and universal modules for planning and correcting fire, they are definitely capable of reaching a distance of up to 80 km," commented Bratchuk.

Bratchuk stated that it is necessary to develop a "long-range fist" to counter such attack means.

"Russia has a large number of aerial munitions that can be turned into deadly weapons flying at our cities... There remains one question. Our efforts, our "long-range fist", which President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky constantly talks about. This should help us destroy enemy aircraft not only at a distance of 200-300 km but also deep within the territory of the Russian Federation. This is probably one of the few ways that will help change the situation with the shelling of our peaceful cities and, as a consequence, influence the situation on the battlefield," stated Bratchuk.
