A Russian man killed his own daughter but instead of prison went to the 'SVO'.

A Russian man who killed his daughter went to war against Ukraine
Accused of murdering his 18-year-old daughter, Dmitry Surov from Saint Petersburg went to war against Ukraine. He explained this with 'patriotic feelings'. Russian media reports this.
When asked whether he signed a contract to avoid court, Surov replied that he 'tries not to think about the fact that someone sees a connection with the murder of his daughter'.
The body of the 18-year-old girl was found on September 8 on Polikarpov Alley. Her father – 39-year-old Dmitry Surov – was detained on suspicion of the crime.
According to investigators, he drunkenly inflicted at least 58 knife wounds to the girl.
The inadequate was sent to jail, but already two months later – on November 19, photos of him in military uniform with weapons appeared on his social media. It is unknown where the photos were taken.
Previously, Surov had been convicted for kidnapping, robbery, and the destruction of documents.
It is worth noting that in the city of Chebarkul, Chelyabinsk region, a photo of the killer was hung on the board of so-called 'SVO heroes'. In 2014, a Russian man raped and killed the mother of two children. He tortured and gouged out her eyes. With the onset of full-scale war, he was pardoned and drafted into the army, where he successfully died in 2023. So now he became a hero of Russia.
Additionally, Russian officer Aydin Jamidulov along with his subordinate brutally killed a resident of Luhansk in 2023. The occupier is known among Russians for his pseudo-patriotic poems calling for the seizure of another country and the killing of people, widely promoted by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Aydin Jamidulov was mobilized from the Orenburg region, where he worked as a welder before serving in the army. While the occupier was undergoing combat training at the training ground, he wrote poems, one of which the Russian Ministry of Defense even called a 'great work' and published an excerpt.
Furthermore, a Russian man who participated in the war against Ukraine committed double murder upon returning home. One of the victims was his elderly relative, a winner of the 'Best Teacher in Russia' contest.
