According to TSN.ua: In January 2026, Russian MiG-31K fighters equipped with hypersonic Kinzhal missiles carried out training missions over the Sea of Japan, including in-flight refueling operations. These flights highlighted the capabilities of Russia’s strategic aviation forces in the region.
