Russian priest went to war as a stormtrooper.
A priest from Yekaterinburg, who was accused of attempting to rape a student, was sent to serve in the army. This was reported by The Moscow Times, citing a local metropolitan.
According to the hierarch, the priest will perform 'another ministry' as a private soldier. The client of the curse hopes that he will find repentance on the battlefield.
According to the investigation, the priest attacked a young woman on the street. He prevented her from entering her house, sexually harassed her, and attacked her. His actions were captured by a door camera, and the girl's screams were heard.
The accused has a wife and child. The woman was present at the court hearing but refused to speak to the press.
The priest worked in a local church and was the secretary-referent of the metropolitan.
