Rubio expressed his opinion that this week will be very important: 'It's time to make a decision - whether to continue addressing this issue or move on to other, possibly even more important ones. We want this to happen.'
He added that there are grounds for optimism, but also reasons to be realistic.
According to Rubio, the situation is very complex, but progress is evident.
It is worth noting that before the funeral of Pope Francis, the presidents of the U.S. and Ukraine held a meeting.
Donald Trump, responding to journalists' questions, noted that Putin does not wish to end the war in Ukraine.
Moreover, the Kremlin announced that Putin is ready for negotiations with Ukraine without preconditions.
