In Kyiv, a drone pierced an apartment through: the owner shared a strange rescue.
According to ТСН: In the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv, during a night attack by Russian drones, a residential building was damaged. One of the apartments was pierced through. The owner miraculously survived and shared her experiences after the explosion.
"Curtains and plants stopped the glass"
The woman recalls hearing the hum of the engine and immediately realized that the drone was flying towards her house. The shock wave caught her in the room, which protected her from serious injuries.
Some shards of glass that flew around the rooms were stopped by ordinary curtains and indoor plants. However, the woman received cuts on her arms and legs and is in a state of severe shock.
Destruction and rescue
The woman’s apartment is practically destroyed: windows are shattered from several sides, and the walls and bathroom are damaged. She had to escape from her home blindly, navigating through thick dust and debris.
"I was walking through the dust, nothing was visible. I immediately started checking if the neighbors were alive," the victim recounts.
"This is my home"
Despite the fact that mostly ruins are left of her home, and friends offered temporary accommodation in the office, the woman firmly refuses to leave her house.
"I was offered to live in the office... But this is my home. It is the only thing I have. These 12 square meters contain my entire life," the woman says.
