SSU has in absentia announced suspicion against 29 traitors who tortured people in the TOT Kherson region.

The Security Service of Ukraine announced suspicions against 29 individuals who commit mass repressions against the peaceful population of temporarily occupied areas of the Kherson region. This was reported by the SSU press center.

The Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police have identified traitors working in the "RF Ministry of Internal Affairs department for the Oleshky district," created by the occupiers, among whom are former employees of Ukrainian law enforcement agencies.

These individuals engage in the kidnapping and imprisonment of local residents, applying beatings to them, including with the use of electric shock. Prisoners are also held for extended periods in isolation cells without food or water.

Furthermore, accomplices of the occupiers loot the homes of the abducted under the pretext of searches. During such operations, all personal property of the victims is stolen, including cars, office equipment, furniture, and household appliances.

«Another task of the occupying body was the protection of the so-called Russian electoral commissions and the armed escort of hostile agitators during the pseudo-referendum on joining the region to the Russian Federation», – the message states.

Based on the collected evidence, law enforcement officers announced suspicions against 29 collaborators who operated as part of a criminal organization.

These individuals are suspected under eight articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, including Art. 255 (Creation, leadership of a criminal organization, as well as participation in it); Art. 110 (Encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine); Art. 111-1 (Collaborative activities).

Chess player and former citizen of Ukraine Sergey Karyakin has been appointed a "senator" from the "Crimean parliament" in the Federation Council of the Russian Federation. Earlier, Karyakin was elected as a "deputy of the Crimean parliament" from the "United Russia" party.

Incidentally, an attempt was made on the life of a traitor to Ukraine, Gennadiy Matsegora, who held the position of mayor of Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region from the OPZZH party, in the Russian city of Stary Oskol.

It became known that earlier, a court in the Kyiv region found a resident of Dymer guilty, who collaborated with the Russians and became the self-proclaimed head of the community during the occupation of the village in the spring of 2022.
