The public relations officer of the 13th brigade of operational assignment of the NGU 'Khartia', Volodymyr Dehtyarov announced that the phase of the operation in the north of Kharkiv region, which lasted several months, has ended. He mentioned this on the air of the 'Espresso' TV channel.

'Liptsy is a strategically important area because when the 'Khartia' brigade entered the Kharkiv region in May of this year, we encountered the enemy during their offensive on the outskirts of Liptsy, from where we managed to drive them out. All these months we continue to push them back together with friendly units further north, to the border. The next phase of the large operation, which lasted several months, has been completed. The defense forces have managed to liberate another area before Liptsy,' emphasized Dehtyarov.

According to the public relations officer of the 13th brigade of operational assignment of the NGU 'Khartia', Ukrainian defenders are managing to intercept the initiative step by step and liberate Ukrainian land in the north of Kharkiv region.

'Indeed, the specifics of certain actions greatly depend on the terrain. If you open a map and look at the terrain surrounding Liptsy, you can see large fields with some forest areas, tree plantations, woodlands here and there. Therefore, the main battles are fought for these forest areas because it doesn't make sense to build any defense zones in open areas. The main task for us is to perform certain actions to be able to unexpectedly intercept the initiative, enter, capture a bridgehead in the woodland, and move on. This is what happened during the liberation of the last territories,' added Dehtyarov.

Recall, information about 'wedging' into the defense of Ukrainian defenders is not true. This was reported by brigade spokesman Andriy Polukhin to the 'Free Radio' journalists.

'The situation there is this: as we previously said, small Russian infantry groups enter. They enter and do not exit because they become blocked by control from our drones. The occupiers are temporarily there, and our guys immediately drive them out... So, it cannot be called consolidation or wedging, any movement along the defense line,' says Polukhin.

Earlier, a representative of the 24th separate mechanized brigade named after King Danylo Ivan Petrychak stated that Russian forces managed to 'wedge' into the Ukrainian defense line near Chasiv Yar and cross the Siversky Donets – Donbas channel.

Recall, Russia might send North Korean military for winter assaults on Pokrovsk in Donetsk region or other important front areas in eastern Ukraine. This version is presented by The Guardian.

By the way, the Kremlin set new deadlines for its troops: by February 1, 2025, to regain full control over the Kursk region because they didn't manage by October 15.
