New Cold Wave Set to Hit Ukraine
According to TSN.ua: According to meteorologist Natalka Didenko, a significant temperature drop is forecast for April 7–8, following a relatively warm start to the month. On April 3, daytime temperatures across Ukraine will range between +12°C and +19°C, with western regions seeing cooler conditions of +8°C to +11°C. In Kyiv, the mercury will settle between +14°C and +16°C during the day.
However, a sharp shift is expected just days later. On April 7–8, daytime highs will plummet to just +4°C to +9°C, with overnight lows possibly dipping slightly below freezing. Nighttime temperatures during this cold spell will hover between +3°C and +8°C. In the Carpathian Mountains, overnight readings could hit 0°C, while daytime temperatures will not exceed +8°C.
Temperature Outlook for Kyiv Region
In the Kyiv region, overnight lows will range from +5°C to +10°C, with daytime highs expected between +13°C and +18°C.
