The General Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskiy, had a phone conversation with high-ranking officials of the American military system, during which they discussed the frontline situation and the challenges faced by Ukrainian military personnel.
Syrskiy reported this on his Facebook on October 4, 2024.
During the conversation with the Commander of the U.S. Armed Forces in Europe, General Christopher Cavoli, and the Commander of the U.S. Cyber Command, General Timothy Haugh, Syrskiy emphasized the need to timely receive the promised weapons and military equipment from Ukrainian partners.
Syrskiy noted that the enemy continues to conduct active offensive actions, using its advantage in the air and long-range firepower.
Emphasizing this, Syrskiy also stressed the necessity to strengthen cooperation in the cybersphere between the specialists of the Ukrainian and U.S. armies to protect military information and communication systems.
"Today we must use all available means to have an advantage over the enemy both on the battlefield and in the informational and cyberspace," concluded the General Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
