The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine held a meeting on the operation of unmanned systems
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, held a meeting with the commanders of unmanned systems units. They summed up the interim results of their joint work. Syrsky reported this on his Facebook page.
Thus, Syrsky listened to a report from the Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vadym Sukharevsky, regarding the formation of designated units, as well as the results of drone applications in areas of combat missions. Heads of structural divisions of various branches of the Armed Forces and other components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine also reported on the development of the capabilities of unmanned aerial complexes units.
"He defined specific tasks to accelerate the development of this branch of forces, increase the number of unmanned aerial complex units, respond to new challenges from the enemy, and implement advanced technological developments on the battlefield," he said.
As the commander-in-chief emphasized, by the end of September, there is a positive trend in hitting and destroying enemy targets with strike drones.
It should be noted that Colonel Vadym Sukharevsky was appointed Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in June of this year.
As reported, recruiting for the Unmanned Systems Forces continues uninterruptedly, yet there are not enough applicants willing to join.
Notably, the creation of the Unmanned Systems Forces will aid in the accumulation and exchange of experience and open new opportunities for the application of drones.
