Syrsky refuted the blockade of troops in Pokrovsk: what is happening at the front.
According to inkorr.com: The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky refuted Russian claims about the alleged 'blockade' of Ukrainian forces in Pokrovsk, Donetsk region and Kupiansk, Kharkiv region, calling them unreliable.
'In Pokrovsk, enemy infantry avoids combat and is located within urban development. Our task is to identify and destroy them,' he emphasized.
Syrsky stressed the importance of reconnaissance work and the use of strike drones of the Armed Forces, which are carrying out tasks in the city. He noted the need to ensure coordination among units and clear execution of assigned tasks.
Regarding the Dobropil Operation
Currently, assault units continue to move forward, achieving 550 meters in some directions. In total, during the operation, 186.8 square kilometers of Ukrainian territories were liberated, as well as 246.8 square kilometers freed from enemy reconnaissance and sabotage groups, the Commander-in-Chief reported.
Statements by the President and the General Staff
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russian news about the encirclement of Ukrainian troops in Kupiansk and Pokrovsk is a fabrication, and that the enemy's activity in these areas has actually diminished.
'On the front line in Pokrovsk, a significant number of enemy infantry has penetrated the city, we hold positions, but the city is divided into zones of influence,' Syrsky explained.
The Ukrainian Commander-in-Chief refuted Russia's propaganda claims about the encirclement of Ukrainian troops and emphasized the importance of continuing the offensive, conducting reconnaissance operations, and effective cooperation among units.
