The war in Ukraine: over 160 civilians killed, 887 injured
According to UN information, at least 165 peaceful residents were killed as a result of the war in Ukraine in November, and 887 people were injured. Since the beginning of the conflict, 12,340 civilians have died, and 27,836 have been injured.
According to the UN report, the losses in November 2024 significantly increased compared to last year. In November 2023, 113 people were killed, and 363 were injured.
65 Ukrainians became victims of the use of long-range weapons used by Russian forces. These were mainly missiles and ammunition. Also, as a result of shelling from short-range drones in the Kherson region, civilians suffered daily.
In October, 183 peaceful residents died due to the war, and 903 were injured. According to the UN, 45% of the deceased were over 60 years old. Among the victims were 9 children, one of whom died, and 49 were injured.
Ukrainian human rights defenders at the UN presented information about Russia's war crimes against the civilian population, exposing human rights violations occurring as a result of the conflict.
