Deadly Collision on Kyiv-Odesa Highway
According to TSN.ua: A fatal multi-vehicle crash occurred on the Kyiv-Odesa highway, resulting in the death of a 59-year-old female passenger in one of the minibuses, who died at the scene. The Kyiv-Odesa route is a major and heavily trafficked corridor connecting the Ukrainian capital to the country's primary Black Sea port.
The accident happened when a 67-year-old driver of a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter minibus lost control of the vehicle. At that moment, a 33-year-old driver of a second Mercedes-Benz Sprinter was traveling in the direction of Odesa, followed by a 53-year-old driver of a MAN truck. The collision between the two minibuses led to both drivers being hospitalized with physical injuries.
Police worked at the crash site and are investigating the circumstances of the incident. The situation remains under the control of law enforcement agencies.
