Shmyhal named the deadlines for the restoration of critical registers.

The government plans to complete the restoration of state registers within two weeks after the cyberattack. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada. He also reported that there has been no data loss since all registers had backup copies before the attack, which occurred on December 18.
The Ministry of Social Policy stated that the cyberattack does not affect social payments to citizens, and all relevant departments continue to operate. The organization providing assistance to internally displaced persons has also not stopped, and payments will be made in a regular manner.
Vice Prime Minister Olha Stefanishyna confirmed that this cyberattack was carried out by the Russian Federation with the aim of assaulting critical infrastructure. The restoration of registers will begin with the most important ones - the State Register of Civil Status Acts, the register of legal entities and entrepreneurs, as well as the register of property rights to real estate.
Olha Stefanishyna also reported that there has been no leakage of personal data, and all data in the registers will be fully restored.
