Trump's Special Envoy Wants to Resolve the War in Ukraine Within 100 Days After Inauguration.
Kellogg, whom elected US President Donald Trump decided to appoint as a special envoy for Ukraine, plans to find a solution to the war within the first 100 days after the inauguration on January 20. He stated this during an interview on Fox News.
Kellogg emphasized that Trump intends to end the war as quickly as possible.
People need to understand: he is not trying to give something to Putin or the Russians, but is actually trying to save Ukraine and its sovereignty. And he will ensure that it is fair and just - said the politician.
According to Kellogg, the 'biggest mistake' of President Joe Biden was the refusal to dialogue with Russian President Vladimir Putin, while Trump was willing to do so.
Thus, the special envoy hopes to find a solution to the war 'very soon'.
I would like to set a goal on a personal and professional level. I would say that we will set 100 days - said the official.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that if Donald Trump ends the fire without serious security guarantees for Ukraine, he will give 'the green light' to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. Zelensky believes in Trump’s strength and his ability to make Ukraine stronger.
Zelensky also does not plan to meet with the new US President Donald Trump and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in January to sign a peace agreement.
