Kirilenko case: bail posted for the head of the Antimonopoly Committee.
Bail in the amount of 30 million UAH has been posted for the head of the Antimonopoly Committee Pavlo Kirilenko. On August 28, a preventive measure was chosen for him. This was reported by the press service of the HACC to the public.
Kirilenko is suspected of illegal enrichment by 56.2 million UAH and declaring false information. As reported by the press service of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, the prosecutor disagrees with the court's decision and will appeal it.
It should be recalled that the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office and the National Anti-Corruption Bureau initiated criminal proceedings against the head of the Antimonopoly Committee Pavlo Kirilenko under the articles "illegal enrichment" and "declaration of false information".
Details of the case
According to the investigation, in 2020–2023, the suspect, holding the position of head of the regional state administration, acquired 21 real estate objects and a luxury car, registering the property in the names of his wife's relatives.
Pavlo Kirilenko is a lieutenant colonel of justice. Since July 2008, he worked in the prosecutor's office. In September 2017, he was appointed as the military prosecutor of the Uzhgorod garrison in the Western region. In June 2019, the government supported Kirilenko's appointment as head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration.
