The Polish mayor offers Elon Musk to purchase a castle for the headquarters

The mayor of the town of Glogówek in Poland, Piotr Buyak, has proposed to American billionaire Elon Musk to buy a local castle and move his European headquarters there. Buyak made this statement in an interview with the AP agency.

The mayor extended an invitation to Musk on social media platform Twitter and sent letters to his companies, urging the purchase of the castle.

Buyak noted that he was inspired by information in European media that Musk is looking for premises for his operations in Europe.

“The castle has a very nice atmosphere and is the perfect place for great things,” the mayor said. He also added that this place has a long tradition of winemaking: “We feel no worse than Tuscany. We have the perfect climate, and this is the best place on Earth.”

The Glogówek castle has a rich history dating back to the Middle Ages. In the 17th century, it was briefly the capital of Poland. It is known that composer Ludwig van Beethoven stayed there, writing music.

The castle currently belongs to the city and requires significant restoration.

According to The New York Times, Musk will be allocated office space in the White House complex to work in the newly created Department of Government Efficiency. Musk will be the head of this department, whose goal is to reduce government expenditures in the administration of President Donald Trump.

According to The New York Times, Musk will be located in the Eisenhower building adjacent to the White House. This will allow him to have significant influence and access to President Donald Trump after he takes office.
