Snowfalls and icy conditions are hitting Ukraine: forecasters warn of worsening weather.
According to ТСН: Today, cloudy weather will prevail in Ukraine. In the southern regions, as well as in most central and eastern regions, precipitation is expected in the form of snow and rain.
The wind will have a westerly direction, shifting to easterly, at a speed of 5-10 m/s. In Crimea and the Sea of Azov region, gusts of wind of up to 15-20 m/s are possible at night.
Weather Forecast
During the day in the southwestern part of the country, snow and rain will also fall, while the rest of the territory will be free of precipitation. On the roads (except for the southern part), icy conditions will be observed in places.
At noon in the northern Left Bank, the temperature will range from -1 to 6°C, in the southern and southeastern regions - from +4 to +9°C.
Weather in Kyiv
In Kyiv, it will also be cloudy, but without precipitation. In the region, the formation of ice on the roads is possible. The wind will again come from the west, shifting to the east, at 5-10 m/s. During the day, the temperature in Kyiv region will fluctuate from -1 to 6°C, and in the capital - from -3 to 5°C.
It is known that the New Year in Ukraine will start with frosts. According to forecasters' predictions, the weather will be shaped by cold air continuing to flow from the north.
Thus, winter continues to show its cold specifics that should be noted. People should be careful on the roads, especially due to the possibility of ice, and dress warmer in conditions of falling temperatures. It is worth keeping an eye on the synoptic changes further, as the weather in Ukraine can change quickly.
