Jewgeni Kapinus

Jewgeni Valeryevich Kapinus - Ukrainian economist and civil servant, former Secretary of State of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine. Since October 31, 2018, he has been the Chairman of the Board of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.

Place of Birth. Education. Born on February 1, 1978. In 2000, he graduated from the Cherkasy Institute of Management with a degree in 'Manager-Economist'.

In 2005, he obtained the academic degree of Candidate of Sciences in public administration at the Ukrainian Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine.

Career. Since 2003, he worked as the chief adviser of the Department for Structural Changes and Market Infrastructure in the Administration of the President of Ukraine.

In 2005, he began working in the main department for socio-economic development in the Secretariat of the President of Ukraine, where he held senior positions.

In 2010-2011, he was an adviser to the Deputy Prime Minister in the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. He served as coordinator and deputy head of the Coordination Center for Economic Reforms under the President of Ukraine.

In 2015, he headed the Coordination Center for Cooperation with the Cabinet of Ukraine.

From 2016 to 2018, he worked at the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine as Deputy Minister and Head of the Office, as well as Secretary of State.

On October 31, 2018, the government of Ukraine appointed Jewgeni Kapinus as Chairman of the Board of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.

Awards. Honorary title 'Honored Economist of Ukraine'.

Family. His wife Marianna is a co-founder of the LLC 'Investment Consulting Center KEN' (Kyiv), which provides consulting services in the field of business activities and management.
