Pensioners-IDPs will receive assistance from the state: amount of payments

According to inkorr.com: The head of the Board of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, Yevhen Kapinus, spoke about the possibilities of financial support for internally displaced persons from temporarily occupied territories or areas of hostilities. They can receive assistance for living expenses ranging from 2,000 to 3,000 hryvnias. Kapinus noted that pensioners belong to the most vulnerable groups of the population, especially during wartime.

'Pensioners are one of the most vulnerable categories of the population, especially in wartime conditions. Therefore, we consider it our main task to ensure timely pension payments to every pensioner,' Kapinus emphasized.

In addition, all those who have moved from occupied territories or areas of hostilities and have received IDP status can also count on financial support from the state. For the most vulnerable citizens, payments from international organizations for solid fuel for residents of frontline areas are also provided.

Compensation for veteran-IDPs

Veterans who are internally displaced persons and do not have their own housing can now receive compensation for rent. The support program for frontline territories also assists IDP families in purchasing housing, compensating part of the expenses for rent and mortgage.

Furthermore, the government plans to introduce an additional 'bonus' compensation for working-age IDPs who are officially employed and have a continuous work experience of six months after relocation.

The Ukrainian Pension Fund actively supports internally displaced persons and veterans-participants of hostilities, helping socially vulnerable categories of the population improve their living conditions amid war and conflict. The state development program responds to the urgent needs of people who find themselves in difficult life circumstances due to the armed conflict in Ukraine.
