The head of the PFU, Yevheniy Kapinus, noted that in addition to the main payments, additional recalculations are conducted monthly, taking into account various factors such as work experience, salary, employment, and the age of the pensioner. The Fund emphasizes the importance of monitoring pension payments to individuals who are internally displaced, residing abroad, or living in temporarily occupied territories. It is highlighted that pensions should only be received by those who have the legal right to do so.
Assistance for Vulnerable Categories
Moreover, there are special additional payments for vulnerable groups of pensioners aimed at easing their lives in difficult conditions. Such payments include:
- housing assistance,
- support for purchasing fuel,
- other social assistance.
These measures aim to ensure that pensioners feel more comfortable in the challenging realities of today.
The government continues to work on improving the pension system to ensure a decent standard of living for the elderly. The decisions made confirm the state's commitment to care for its citizens, especially in difficult times.
