PFU has expanded access to control insurance contributions: how to check your experience.
Access to information about insurance contributions in Ukraine
According to inkorr.com: Control over the payment of insurance contributions via the internet has become significantly easier for the citizens of Ukraine. As stated by the head of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, Yevhen Kapinus, this information can be checked through the personal account on the PFU web portal or by ordering a special certificate. To access the personal account, you can use a qualified electronic signature, the Diia.Signature application, ID.GOV.UA, or Bank ID.
Information about the insurance experience can be obtained by ordering a certificate of form OK-5 through the PFU portal or in the Diia application. If the employer does not fulfill their obligations regarding the payment of insurance contributions, it is best to first contact them with a demand for accrual and payment. In case of refusal, there is an option to contact the tax service or labor authorities. It should be noted that insurance experience directly affects the amount of the future pension, so it is important to keep track of it.
Thanks to these innovations, Ukrainians have gained the opportunity to monitor their insurance experience and contributions more conveniently, which may impact their financial security in the future. The implementation of such services in the state system will be an additional step towards transparency and convenience in obtaining social services.
