Trump announces tough sanctions against Russia: what awaits Putin on August 8.
The controversial and always divisive US President Donald Trump is preparing to get Russia into big trouble. His plans for sanctions and tariffs are causing alarm in the Kremlin.
Tough Measures
According to US Ambassador to NATO Matt Whitaker, Russia currently has only three 'friends' - China, India, and Brazil. Even they are feeling serious pressure due to cooperation with Putin's country.
'Russia will have no friends. It will have no trading partners, and its ability to finance the war in Ukraine will end. This is what we need...'
Earlier, Trump sent Russia an ultimatum for ten days. Time was running out, and the Kremlin was doing everything possible to avoid sanctions, but time simply passed.
The US President also summarized that for him what is more important - not the actual reality, but the seizing of territories by Russia and the onset of war with Ukraine. He is clearly not concerned about empathy for neighbors and virtuous relations with Russia.
