The president also noted that he returned from a trip to the Middle East specifically to celebrate Charlie Kirk on his birthday.

Charlie Kirk, a blogger and Trump supporter, was shot in the neck during a speech at the University of Utah, after which he died in the hospital. Prosecutors in Utah are planning to seek the death penalty for the suspect in the murder, Tyler Robinson, who allegedly confessed to committing the crime.
