Negotiations on the War Between the US, Ukraine, and Russia
US President Donald Trump announced that 'frameworks for an agreement' have been established regarding the Russo-Ukrainian war. He noted that this occurred due to the high number of casualties and the significant costs of the war. He also expressed hope for a possible arrangement between Ukraine and Russia.
'I believe we have the frameworks for an agreement. I do this for two reasons: thousands of people are dying every week, and the United States, under Biden, has spent 350 billion dollars on a war that should never have happened,' Trump said during a briefing at the White House on Friday, March 21.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also expressed support for the necessity of strong diplomacy and a swift end to the war. He emphasized that pressure needs to be applied on Russia and that strong diplomacy should be relied upon to stop the aggression.
These statements were made during a conversation with media representatives after a meeting with Czech President Petr Pavel.
