US President Donald Trump responded to a question about Vladimir Putin's desire to end the war in Ukraine, stating that 'Putin also wants to do something'. He made these comments during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
In the conversation with Zelensky, Trump also noted that he has 'great relationships' with Putin and hopes that the Russian leader also wishes to end the conflict.
Furthermore, Trump confirmed that Putin is accepting security guarantees for Ukraine, emphasizing his attitude towards both peoples - Ukrainian and Russian.
