Trump first mentioned this at the end of August. Later, the media exposed this lie, but as the elections approached, the former president returned to it.

«You know, they take your child – there are such schools – your boy goes to school and comes back as a girl. Understand? Without parental consent», – said the Republican candidate in an interview with Fox News. He repeated this thesis in another interview.

Trump did not specify where exactly this is happening.

Journalists found no evidence that schools in the USA sent children for gender change operations without parental consent or conducted unauthorized operations on site.

Experts on transgender health issues stated that Trump's story does not correspond to reality.
