Drones attacked a factory in Cheboksary: where parts for Shahed are produced.
According to ТСН: Unknown drones attacked the Russian city of Cheboksary on November 26. According to preliminary data, the drones hit the enterprise JSC "VNIIR-Progess".
This information is confirmed by OSINT analysis from ASTRA.
Details
The night before the attack, residents of Cheboksary heard numerous explosions. The head of the Chuvash Republic of the Russian Federation, Oleg Nikolay, confirmed the events in the region.
Analyzing video from the scene of the incident, ASTRA found that the drones hit JSC "VNIIR-Progess", which is located at Yakovleva Street, 4.
This enterprise is part of the production association "ABS Electro" and specializes in the development and production of scientific and technical products, software-hardware complexes, electronic modules, and radio-electronic products.
Among other things, JSC "VNIIR-Progess" manufactures adaptive antenna arrays "Kometa", which are used in Shahed drones, Iskander-K missiles, guided bombs, and other precision weapons that Russia regularly uses against Ukraine.
It should be noted that this enterprise has already been hit on June 9. The head of the CPD of the NSDC, Andriy Kovalenko, noted that this is an important target. It is also known that the Russian "Progess" was forced to suspend operations indefinitely.
The object was also attacked on July 5. The General Staff confirmed that the means of destruction reached the target, and the results of the event are currently being clarified.
It is worth emphasizing that the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to focus on the need to strike at the facilities of the Russian military-industrial complex, which confirms their importance in the context of the conflict.
