A fire occurred in a high-rise building in Cherkasy after an attack by the Russian Federation: police showed photos.
At night, Russian drones 'Shahed' attacked Cherkasy. As a result of the strike, a fire broke out and a balcony was damaged in one of the high-rise buildings. The police of the Cherkasy region published photos from the scene of the attack.
The police reported that they had already managed to extinguish the fire and retrieve the debris of the drone and its warhead by explosives experts.
Earlier, on January 31, Russian troops also carried out a similar attack on Cherkasy using drones, resulting in a fire in a residential building.
There were also reports of an attack by a drone on the Krasnopill community in Sumy Oblast, which resulted in two people being injured.
The incident with the debris that hit a balcony in one of the apartments in the Obolon district of Kyiv has not yet been confirmed.
Currently, the full-scale war has been ongoing for 1073 days. Overall, the enemy carried out 44 airstrikes, launched 88 guided bombs, used 1007 kamikaze drones, and conducted over 4600 shellings of Ukrainian military positions and settlements.
During the last day, there were 125 combat encounters. Defenders continue to effectively hold back the enemy along the entire front line and inflict significant losses on them.
