A missile fell in Cherkasy at night.
On the night of August 23, a Russian missile fell during an RF attack in Cherkasy region. According to the head of the Regional Military Administration Ihor Taburets, there are no casualties.
According to preliminary data, the missile fell on open territory within the regional center. As a result, the wood stored there caught fire. The fire was quickly extinguished. Also, debris damaged neighboring private enterprises' buildings, windows in a store, and several cars.
In the Cherkasy district, another Shahed was destroyed, but without consequences. The area is currently being inspected.
Air raid alert announced in different regions of Ukraine
On the night of August 23, an air raid alert was announced in several regions of Ukraine. According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the occupiers launched 16 Shaheds and two ballistic missiles of the Iskander-M or KN-23 type.
Recall that in the Cherkasy region, during the announced air raid alert, local residents reported sounds of explosions.
Also, on the night of August 23, an air raid alert was announced in the capital due to the threat of ballistic missiles from the north.
