Activist and veteran Serhiy Yanchuk stated that his comrade was beaten because of their position on the construction on the plot. He noted that the opponents use manipulation, accusing them of collaborating with Russia. It turned out that Andrian, Yanchuk's comrade, hit one of the opponents, after which he was attacked. He was hospitalized with a head injury.
According to Yanchuk, a private investor is improperly considering the opinion of local residents and is possibly attracting outside people for money.
Police reported that the fight occurred in one of the city's neighborhoods, and both participants were injured. Two criminal cases have been opened for intentional minor bodily harm. The investigation is ongoing.
Such incidents have become frequent in Ukraine, where veterans and military personnel are often attacked. Authorities and police are actively addressing this issue.
