Knife Attack in Kyiv Metro: Two Injured, Attacker Detained.

According to ТСН: In Kyiv, law enforcement officers detained a man who started a fight and stabbed two passengers at the metro station.

Events at the Metro Station

The incident occurred in the evening at the "Kontraktova Ploshcha" station. According to preliminary information, a conflict arose between passengers, which escalated into a physical confrontation.

During the fight, a 35-year-old Kyiv resident inflicted knife wounds on two men: one sustained a laceration to the face, and the other - a wound to the arm. The victims were urgently hospitalized.

Detention and Criminal Case

The man who committed the attack was promptly detained by the police. A criminal proceeding has been opened under part 4 of article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (hooliganism), which provides for punishment of up to seven years of imprisonment.

Another Incident

Moreover, it has been reported that the day before in Kyiv, two men threatened a taxi driver with a gun, forcing him to drive them around the city for free. During their detention, they also behaved aggressively towards the police officer, threatening him with a weapon.
