Massive attack on Kyiv: how traffic in the capital has changed.
According to inkorr.com: On the night of November 14, Kyiv was subjected to a massive shelling, resulting in the city facing
blocked roads and changes in the operationof public transport. The situation was reported by the KMDA and the first deputy chief of the patrol police, Oleksiy Biloshytskyi, as well as
reported by “Slovo i Dilo”.
Main blockages in Kyiv
The patrol police temporarily closed several key routes. Restrictions apply to the following sections:
Lesovyi Avenue – from Miliutenko to Kubanska Ukraine
Yuri Iliienko Street – from Dovnar-Zapolskyi to Dehtiarivska
Hlybochytska Street – from Sichovykh Striltsiv to Lukianivska
Due to the blockages, bus No. 20 operates with delays and temporarily does not enter Stolychne Highway.
How trolleybus routes have changed
After the attack, the police and utilities
readjusted the operation of several trolleybus routes. The movement is organized as follows:
No. 6, 16, 18, 28, 33, 31 – from Yuri Iliienko Street to Lukianivska Square
No. 37, 37-A – to the Darnytsia metro station
No. 19, 35 – Kadetskyi Hai – Sevastopolska Square – Chokolivska – Vadym Hetman – Olena Telihy, then according to standard routes
As a result of
the night attack, residential buildings in various areas of the capital were damaged. According to city authorities, three people were killed, and 26 others were injured, including two children. Utility and emergency services are focused on eliminating the aftermath, while transport services are gradually restoring the traffic where the situation allows.
The events mentioned are a vivid confirmation of the difficult situation in the capital, which requires coordinated actions from all services. In the capital, the belief in recovery and a return to normal life remains strong, as the city has faced challenging trials before.
