Cash Assistance Registration Now Open in Mykolaiv

According to Novyny.live: The UN Refugee Agency has launched an online registration queue in Mykolaiv for low-income and vulnerable families to apply for financial aid. This program, which began in late winter, is designed to provide crucial support to those facing hardship. This initiative is part of ongoing international efforts to assist communities in Ukraine affected by the ongoing conflict.

To qualify, a family's income must be below 6,318 hryvnias per person, and applicants must meet at least one vulnerability criterion. Those who were not enrolled in the UNHCR's assistance program during the previous three months are eligible to apply. Furthermore, applicants must not have received cash aid from any other organization in the last three months.

Charity Foundation to Provide Funds

The charitable foundation 'Right to Protection' will disburse the financial aid, providing 3,600 hryvnias per family member for a three-month period. This targeted support aims to assist the most vulnerable populations enduring difficult circumstances.

Consequently, the UN Agency's program seeks to alleviate the financial strain on resource-limited families and offer them essential support during challenging times.

The implementation of this aid scheme represents a significant step in combating poverty and social inequality, particularly amid the severe economic pressures facing the population. The combined financial support from the UN Agency and the 'Right to Protection' foundation is expected to help families cover basic needs and achieve greater stability during the crisis.
