New Year's Attack on Odesa: Consequences of Drone Strikes and Fire Extinguishment.
According to ТСН: On New Year's Eve, Odesa became a victim of an enemy attack.
Consequences of the Attack
This was reported by the head of the Military Civil Administration, Serhiy Lysk.
“On New Year's Eve, the enemy 'greeted' Odesa with several waves of drone strikes. A series of emergencies were recorded in the city: the fall of drones and debris, fires at infrastructure facilities, damage to residential buildings,” he noted.
All fires were promptly extinguished thanks to the efforts of rescuers, bomb disposal experts, and utility services.
Damage to Energy Infrastructure
Earlier, it was reported that Russian troops struck the energy infrastructure of Odesa, resulting in fires and power outages in the city.
Thus, this attack was yet another intervention in an already difficult situation in the region, highlighting the threats looming over Ukrainian cities in the context of Russian aggression. The elimination of the consequences of hostilities and the restoration of infrastructure remain top priorities for local authorities and emergency services.
